ARES Commander Edition is a complete computer-aided design and development system fully compatible with the DVG format for electronic imaging. At the heart of the ARES Commander Edition suite is the same proprietary ARES technology used in well-known products such as DraftSight from Dassault Sistemes, CorelCAD from Corel and various other solutions. Thus, Graebert offers its own implementation of its CAD engine, which is actively used in the products of other major manufacturers. The ARES system offers the user full compatibility with the popular AutoCAD CAD system, the DVG format is used here as a standard addition, 400 out of 700 standard AutoCAD commands with support for complex scenarios are available to the user in the ARES package. In addition, the ARES package contains a built-in tool for inserting voice comments directly into image files – by opening the file, the user can listen to the author’s comments.
